Luke Moeller

Hitting, Pitching, Catching, & Fielding Instruction

Luke grew up around the professional game, the son of an 11-year MLB veteran and World Series Champion.
After four years of collegiate baseball across three programs, playing both pitcher and catcher, he understands firsthand how much this game demands, not just physically, but mentally. Every lesson is built around that perspective: baseball is a game built on failure, and how a player responds to it
matters more than any single mechanic.

– Four-year collegiate career across three programs: pitcher at the University of Arizona, then two-way
(pitcher/catcher) at Yavapai College and Grand Canyon University, plus two summers in the Northwoods League

– Instruction in hitting, pitching, catching, and fielding, with a mental-game component built into
every session

– 6 years of coaching camps and clinics with Chad Moeller Baseball

Private Lessons	Rates

After trying another facility that was not only unfriendly to beginners but downright terrible at customer service, we decided to give Scottsdale Batting Cages a try. I'm so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the difference was clear. The front desk staff didn't just point us in a direction. They physically walked over and showed us exactly how everything worked. That kind of hands-on help made a big difference, especially for my child, who felt more confident and encouraged because of it. The pricing is very reasonable, and their hours are convenient for busy families. We've now been a few times, and every staff member we've encountered has been consistently welcoming, helpful, and genuinely friendly. It's clear they care about creating a positive experience for everyone, no matter your skill level. We're happy to have found this place!

Absolutely love it here. We have a membership and go a few times a week. Super easy to make reservations. The staff helps you if you need help setting up. Very clean.

Megan L.

Best place for private lessons and summer camps!! Chad is always helpful and answers all questions in a timely manner. Summer camp is indoors, fun, educational, and has an amazing instructor to student ratio. Your baseball player will receive hands on instruction. Clean batting cages with excellent air conditioning.

Michelle S.

My son has taken lessons with Chad and his staff. They are always welcoming and make an effort to remember everyone's name. Batting cages are kept in great shape and there's always help when you need it.

Robert M.

This is the best batting cage facility that I've found in the valley. We went there just bat but discovered that they offer other cages for pitching as well. The prices are probably the best of any as well. Highly recommended.

Sean C.

Probably the best cage in the valley. You have to book ahead though. Always recommend a membership. I've been a member for over a year now. Compared to what everyone else charges. This is the place to go. The cages are always clean and the atmosphere is always professional.

We have a membership at Scottsdale Batting cages and get a lot of value from it. Our son plays baseball and our daughters play softball, we can have them practice at the same time which is great for us. The facility is busy on week day nights which is expected but the ability to make a forward reservation helps out with that. The facility is pretty open during the weekends which works awesome for us.

Chris S.

Great clean facility to hit off the machine or tee. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.
