John Casey

John is an expert in Hitting & Fielding Instruction. He attended college at Stanislaus State, and in 1991 was a Division II 1st Team All American. He has 5 years of professional baseball experience and over 15 years of coaching experience.

Carrie Markham Gutierrez
Carrie is a graduate of Pfeiffer University in Charlotte where she earned a Masters in Leadership and Organizational Change. Prior to graduate school, Carrie attended Belmont Abbey College where she earned a B.A. in Sports Management and began her collegiate athletic career. She was a pitcher for Belmont Abbey, as well as an outfielder, and was named to the 2nd Team CVAC All Conference as a pitcher. Also while attending Belmont Abbey, Carrie was a member of the volleyball team for four years and was awarded to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll for both volleyball and softball. Carrie began her coaching career in Charlotte in 2009 in before moving back to her hometown of Phoenix in 2012. Carrie has been working with youth softball players for over 10 years, coaching many girls into their collegiate careers. Evan White
Baseball & Softball Batting Lessons
Evan White is a former 4 year Brophy College Preparatory baseball player (and U of A grad) that trains baseball and softball players from 6 years old through the high school level. With Little League and high school level coaching experience, Evan is able to engage his students on becoming better ballplayers through hitting drills and positive reinforcement. In the past year alone, he has worked with over 100 players from around Arizona. He also worked with his sister Leah White, who is a standout softball player at Stanford University.
Baseball and softball players have been coming from all over Phoenix and Scottsdale for private batting lessons at The Scottsdale Batting Cages. Some of his students are at schools such as: Brophy College Prep, Horizon, Desert Mountain, Chaparral, Pinnacle, Shadow Mountain, & Sunnyslope.
Evan White has been teaching baseball and softball players who are, or have played in the following leagues: Scottsdale Miss Softball, Scottsdale Cal Ripken, McDowell Mountain Little League, Paradise Valley Girls Softball League, AZ Playball, and more!
